Consultation Engagement Plan types determine which Engagement Plans can be used for consultation activities and reporting. By enabling the Is a consultation engagement plan option, you can designate an Engagement Plan type for use in the Consultation Process and access consultation-specific features such as consultation reporting, issue tracking, and commitment management.
This article explains how to configure an Engagement Plan type for consultation activities.
Configure a Consultation Engagement Plan Type
- Go to Configuration → Data dictionaries → Type of engagement plan.
- Open the relevant engagement plan type (or create a new one dedicated to consultation- e.g. - Consultation).
- Check the "Is a consultation engagement plan" checkbox.
- Click the Save button.
✔ Result: A consultation Engagement Plan type will appear in 'Type of engagement plan' dropdown while creating an Engagement Plan.
★ Tip: You can configure more than one consultation-enabled Engagement Plan type. For example, separate Engagement Plan types can be created for Indigenous consultation, community engagement, or other consultation programs.
