Manage your preferences (time zone, language, theme, etc.)

Several customization options are available for your preferences. One of the things you might want to do as you log into Borealis for the first time is adjust them so that they meet your needs.

Several preferences can be modified:

  • Language: You can change the language of the interface. Only the languages configured for your organisation will be available. Data related content will remain in the language it was inputted in (e.g., communications and internal notes).
  • Time zone: You can select a new time zone from the drop-down list.
  • Date and time format: You can select specific Time and Date formats from the drop-down list.
  • Theme: You can select one of the three themes available for Borealis.
    • Default: This is the default theme of Borealis. It generally reflects the standard color defined for your instance or the default Borealis colors along with white for the main sections of the windows. This mode generally displays dark text against a white background.
    • Dark: This theme replaces the default display of dark text against a white background with light text against a dark background. This reduces screen brightness and helps reduce eye strain.
    • High contrast: This theme adds contrasting elements to the Default theme to highlights tabs and other UI elements.
