Offline Mode Activation and Data Synchronization | Borealis Mobile App

Requirement: Borealis Mobile - Offline user profile

Activating the offline mode requires completing a few simple steps that can be done quickly.

Activate the Borealis Mobile App Offline Feature

1. Open the Borealis Mobile App on your phone.
2. Navigate to the Settings menu from the Navigation menu.
3. Press on the Offline Mode menu item.
4. Press on the Activate Offline Mode toggle to activate it.

The Download now button will download an updated version of some of the data found in Borealis. Data will be downloading upon activating the Offline Mode but it can also be downloaded manually at any time.

Choose how the offline data will be sent to Borealis

Data can be either sent automatically to Borealis or synchronized manually.

Automatically Send Data to Borealis

You can set the application to automatically send data to Borealis once your connection is restored.

1. Open the Borealis Mobile App on your phone.
2. Navigate to the Settings menu from the Navigation menu.
3. Press on the Offline Mode menu item.
4. Press on the Auto-send communications to Borealis toggle.

Manually Send data to Borealis

If the toggle to automatically send data to Borealis is not activated, you can choose when you manually send the data to Borealis
Note that once your mobile data connection is active, you will receive a prompt asking whether you want to sync the offline data with Borealis. If you select NO or ignore it, you can manually synchronize the data as follows:

1. Open the Borealis Mobile App on your phone.
2. Navigate to the Settings menu from the Navigation menu.
3. Press on the Offline Mode menu item.
4. Press on the Synchronize now button
