Introduction to the Capacity Management Section

The capacity management component allows to keep a full register of the local businesses that makes up the local supply chain as well as their specific competencies. Moreover, it allows to keep track of the business evaluation as a result of the periodic audit based on defined criteria.

In addition, the capacity management component assists the building of capacity in local communities, so that they are better equiped to take advantage of opportunities available through the local business development program. This component includes the following registers:

  • Businesses register: lists the business located in local communities, who are registered as participating in the local business development program
  • Competencies register: lists the things businesses are expected to know, or to be able to do in order to be considered for opportunities
  • Capacity building register: lists the learning & development activities designed to improve the skills, knowledge and behaviors of participating businesses
