A business (or ''participating'' business) is a company or any other type of business entity (such as a sole trader) from a local community who is registered in, and may benefit from, the local business development program.
This register allows to manage the details of each (participating) business in the local business development program, and additionally:
- View each opportunity for which a business has been considered
- View each contract awarded to a business under the local business development program
- View each competency that a business is known to possess

To work with this register, from the application menu, navigate to Modules > Local Business Development > Capacity Management > Businesses.
