Eligibility in the Compensation Process

The eligibility process is meant to allow the full list of assets to be captured under an impact inventory record without restriction. However it happens sometimes that more assets are surveyed in the field than what is entitled for compensation or what is meant to end up being impacted by the project. The eligibility step is there to allow you to confirm if all assets surveyed should be paid. However to accelerate data entry and assuming that most assets surveyed are entitled for compensation, we have ensured that all assets are tagged by default as “eligible”. Therefore you only need to change the eligibility status to “confirmed” when this is the case. It is also understood that sometimes this check is not needed at all and it is planned to shortly allow you to define this at the entitlement matrix level too, where you will be able to decide to keep or remove this step separately for each entitlement matrix.
