Manage Checklists for your Tasks

Checklists are an efficient way to track and follow what needs to be done to complete tasks. You first need to create them in configuration and once created, you can add them to your tasks as you create them or after they have been created to help you track your task advancement or to note what was necessary or not.

You can then use the checklist options to change the item status and add comments.

Create a Checklist for Task Completion

  1. Navigate to Task checklist in Configuration.
  2. Click the +Create button.
  3. Specify a name in the Title field.
  4. Click the Save and view button.

Add Items to a Checklist

  1. Navigate to Task checklist in Configuration.
  2. Select and open the checklist to which you want to add items to.
  3. In General information, click the + Add in-line icon or the + add button besides items.

  4. In the Order field, specify the position you want the item to be in the checklist. You can have multiple items with the same value in the "Order" field if you want.
  5. In the Value field, specify the name of the item in the language(s) your organization uses.
  6. Click the Save button.

Edit the Order or the Names of Items in a Checklist

  1. Navigate to Task checklist in Configuration.
  2. Select and open the checklist for which you want to edit items
  3. In General information, mouseover the item you want to modify.
  4. Click the Edit button on the right hand side.

  5. Modify information as needed.
  6. Click the Save button.

Deactivate or Reactivate an Item in a Checklist

  1. Navigate to Task checklist in Configuration.
  2. Select and open the checklist for which you want to edit items
  3. In General information, mouseover the item you want to change the status.
  4. Click the Deactivate or Reactivate button.

Remove an Item From a Checklist

  1. Navigate to Task checklist in Configuration.
  2. Select and open the checklist for which you want to edit items
  3. In General information, mouseover the item you want to remove.
  4. Click the ... (ellipsis) menu on the right hand side.
  5. Click Remove.
