Update the Status of Items on a Task Checklist

After you have assigned a checklist to your task, you will need to keep the checklist up-to-date as you complete items on it. You can update the status of the items individually or all at once.

Change the Status of a Single Checklist item 

  1. Navigate to Tasks.
  2. In General information, scroll down to Checklist.
  3. Mouseover the checklist item you want to edit.
  4. Click the Update button on the right hand side.
  5. Select its state from the Value drop-down list.
  6. Specify a comment in the Comments field.
  7. Click the Save button.

Change the status of Multiple Checklist Items

  1. Navigate to Tasks.
  2. In General information, scroll down to Checklist.
  3. Click the Update all items button.
  4. Select a value from the Value drop-down list for each of the checklist items. If a Value was replaced for any of the items, it will be replaced by the new Value selected.
  5. Specify a comment in the Comments field.
  6. Click the Save button.
