There are several methods you can use to enter information and fill out the forms of records in Borealis.
- You can manually type in the information you want to add
- You can import and update it with the Excel template
- You can create communications from the Outlook Add-in or the Gmail add-on
- You can create stakeholders with the Chrome extension
- You can directly paste it in the application from an outside source.
When Copy/pasting into Borealis, the formatting will be kept by default when pasting into rich text fields, where text format can be edited. This includes:
- Font size
- Bold
- Italic
- Bullet points
- Numbered lists
Removing Formatting From Text Pasted to Borealis
After copying the text from your source file, if you copy it directly to Borealis, the formatting of the original text will be kept. You can avoid keeping the formatting by:
- Right-clicking where you want to copy your information and selecting the option Paste as plain text.
- For Macs, use the keyboard command Cmd + Shift + V
- For Windows and Linux, use the keyboard command Ctrl + Shift + V
