The emails you receive from your stakeholders and the ones you send to them often require actions from you. To ensure actionable next steps are immediately captured and linked to communications, the Outlook Add-in offers the possibility of creating follow-up tasks directly linked to the email.
Create a Task From the Outlook Add-in
- From your Inbox, click the New Mail button or select an email that you received.
- Click on the Borealis add-in icon on the ribbon.
- Enter your login credentials for Borealis if you are not already logged in and click the Login button.
- Scroll to the Tasks field in the Outlook add-in.
You may need to add the task field to your Outlook add-in. - Click + Add a task.
- Select and fill in the correct information in the add-in to document the task properly.
- Click the Save button.
A confirmation banner will then be displayed at the bottom of the add-in to confirm the task creation.
