Link Social Investment Elements To/From a Land Unit Record

You can create Community contributions, Strategic community investments, and Capacity building and assign them to a land unit when you create them from the Social Investment menu, but you can also create or link those elements directly from a land unit record.

Add a Community Contribution to a Land Unit Record

  1. Navigate to Land units in Land access.
  2. Locate and open the land unit to which you want to add a community contribution.
    If the land unit is inactive, it will need to be reactivated before you can link them to a community contribution.
  3. In the left hand record menu, click the + Add in-line option for Community contribution OR select Community contribution under Social investment and click the + Add button in the Community contribution information page.
  4. Select either Create a new record OR select Link an existing record.

  5. In the Select drop-down list, select the community contribution you want to link to this land unit
    OR Create a new community contribution using the + Create button.

  6. Click the Link button.

Add a Strategic Community Investment to a Land Unit Record

  1. Navigate to Land units in Land access.
  2. Locate and open the land unit to which you want to add a strategic investment.
    If the land unit is inactive, it will need to be reactivated before you can link them to a strategic community investment.
  3. In the left hand record menu, click the + Add in-line option for Strategic community investments OR select Strategic community investments under Social investment and click the + Add button in the Strategic community investments information page.
  4. Select either Create a new record OR select Link an existing record.

  5. In the Select drop-down list, select the strategic community investment you want to link to this land unit
    OR Create a new strategic community investment using the + Create button.
  6. Click the Link button.

Add a Capacity Building record to a Land Unit Record

  1. Navigate to Land units in Land access.
  2. Locate and open the land unit to which you want to add a capacity building record.
    If the land unit is inactive, it will need to be reactivated before you can link them to a capacity building record.
  3. In the left hand record menu, click the + Add in-line option for Capacity building OR select Capacity building under Social investment and click the + Add button in the Capacity building information page.
  4. Select either Create a new record OR select Link an existing record.

  5. In the Select drop-down list, select the capacity building record you want to link to this company asset
    OR Create a new capacity building record using the + Create button.
  6. Click the Link button.

View a Social Investment Element from a Land Unit

  1. Navigate to Land unit in Land access.
  2. Locate and open the land unit for which you want to view the details of a social investment element.
  3. In the left hand menu, select either Community contributions, Strategic investments, or Capacity building.
  4. In the selected element information page, mouseover the element for which you want to view details.
  5. Click the View button on the right hand side of the page.

You will then be taken to the General information page of this social investment element.

Unlink a Social Investment Element From a Land Unit

  1. Navigate to Land unit in Land access.
  2. Locate and open the land unit from which you want to unlink a social investment element.
  3. In the left hand menu, select either Community contributions, Strategic investments, or Capacity building.
  4. In the selected element information page, mouseover the element you want to unlink.
  5. Click the Unlink button on the right hand side of the page.
