Add or Unlink a Community contribution from a Company asset

You can create and link a Community contribution to a Company asset from the Social investment menu. Alternatively, you can link an existing Community Contribution record directly from a Company asset record.

View Community contributions Linked to a Company asset

1. Navigate to Company asset in Land access.
2. Locate and open the company asset for which you want to view the details of a community contribution.
3. In the left-hand menu, select Social investment -> Community contributions.
4. In the Community contributions list page, hover over the community contribution for which you want to view details.
5. Select the record.
   

You will be redirected to general information page of this community contribution.

Add a Community contribution to a Company asset 

1. Navigate to Company assets in Land access.
2. Locate and open the company asset to which you want to add a community contribution.
   Note: If the Company asset is inactive, reactivate it before linking the Community contribution.

3. In the left-hand record menu, click the + Add in-line option for Community contribution OR select Community contribution under Social investment and click the + Add button in the Community contribution list page.

   

4. Select an existing community contributions record which you want to associate with this company asset and click Save. Select the Create another checkbox to open a new form and associate another Community Contribution with the same Company Asset. 

Note: Community contributions that overlap with the company asset are automatically displayed in the Community contributions list. A manual link can still be added for these records if required.

1. Click Social investment -> Community contributions from left-hand menu.

   

2. Select the Community contribution that you want to associate with the Company asset.

   Note: Only Community contributions that do not have a status of Rejected or Cancelled can be linked to a Company asset.

3. From the Community contribution general information page, expand Land access in the left-hand menu, and then click the + icon next to Company assets.      
4. Select Company asset from Company assets dropdown and click Save.

If required, you can also Create a new community contribution and then link it to a company asset.

Unlink a Community contribution from a Company asset

1. Navigate to Company asset in Land access.
2. Locate and open the company asset from which you want to unlink a community contribution.
3. In the left-hand menu, select Social investment->Community contributions.
4. In the Community contributions list page, hover over the community contribution you want to unlink.

5. Click the Remove manual link to unlink a Community contribution record from a Company asset.

   
    

Note: Community Contributions that appear because they overlap with the Company Asset cannot be removed using this action. Remove Manual Link only removes manually created associations. The Community Contribution will continue to appear based on the automatic overlap calculation.
