Import Land Titles Using the Excel Template

While you can manually create land titles one at a time through the Land Titles Register, you can also create them in bulk using the Excel template.

Import Land Titles Using the Excel Template

For instructions and general information about importing data into Borealis using Excel templates, see the Import and Update Data via Excel Template article.

When importing land titles, ensure the following:

• Use the Land titles template to input land title information for your bulk update.
  • Select Land titles from the Type of data to import drop-down list.
    
• If the parcels associated with the land titles already exist in Borealis, enter the Parcel names in the Parcels cells. When you upload the Excel file, Borealis automatically links the parcels to the corresponding land titles.
• You can create as many records as needed using the Excel sheet, but we recommend splitting the imports if the number of records exceeds 1000.

Note:  Parcels must already exist in Borealis before importing land titles for those parcels.

After importing your land titles, you should proceed with the Import Titleholders Using the Excel Template.
