Import Titleholders Using the Excel Template

You can manually add information regarding titleholders during the land title creation or you can add that information to your land title afterwards manually, but you can also create your titleholders in batch using the Excel template after you have created your land titles and automatically link them together.

Import Titleholders Using the Excel Template

Refer to the Import data via Excel template article for the steps to take and general information regarding importing data into Borealis using the Excel templates.

When importing titleholders, make sure to take the following into account:

• Use the Titleholders template to input titleholder information for your batch creation.
  • Select Titleholders  from the Type of data to import drop-down list.
    
• You should have previously created land titles before importing titleholders. You can specify the Land title name in the Title reference number cells. 
  This this will link the previously created land titles to the titleholders when you upload your Excel file to Borealis.
• You can create as many records as needed using the Excel sheet, but we recommend splitting the imports if the number of records exceeds 1000.
