Verify a Parcel

Data is a core component of Borealis and allows you to use many of the engagement management features to assist you in your day-to-day work. This data accuracy can be taken for granted but a process of regular data verification should be put in place at defined intervals to ensure the data in your system is reliable and can be used by you and your team. 

Parcel verification can be done manually for each parcel, or in batch for multiple parcels, based on the data conservation process and the requirements of your company and lets you make sure the data in your system is accurate and reliable.

View the Verification Status of a Parcel

If a parcel was never verified, the Last verification date and the Last verified by fields will be empty.

  1. Navigate to Parcels in Land access.
  2. Select the parcel for which you want to view their verification status.
  3. In the left hand record menu, select Verification.
  4. In the information page, you can view the following information:
    • The Last verification date field lets you confirm when the last Verify action was carried out.
    • The Last verified by lets you confirm who verified the parcel.

Verify a Parcel Record

  1. Navigate to Parcels in Land access.
  2. Select the parcel which you want to verify.
  3. Click the Action menu and select Verify OR in the left hand record menu, select Verification and click the Verify button in the information page while you mouse over.

  4. Specify information on what you verified in the Comments field.
  5. Click the Verify button.

Verify Parcel Records in Batch

  1. Navigate to Parcels in Land access.
  2. In the Parcels register, click Select multiple in the upper right corner of the list page.

  3. Flag the parcels you want to verify.
  4. Click the ellipsis (...) menu in the upper right corner of the list page and select Verify.

  5. Specify information on what you verified in the Comments field.
  6. Click the Verify button.
