An axis represents a variable that is used to measure something within your assessment program. It can be used in the assessment matrix to generate a visual representation of the variable it measures. You can then use these measurements to make data-driven decisions, quickly identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks.
An assessment program can have up to 20 axes.
Add an Axis to Your Assessment Program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program to which you want to add an axis.
- In the left hand record menu, click the + Add in-line option for Configuration and select Axis OR select Configuration and click the + Add button for the Axis option in the Configuration information page.
- Specify the name of the axis in the Value field.
- You can flag Calculated axis to use the calculation method to calculate values for your axis.
- Calculation method: You can select whether the axis will be calculated Based on combination or the Calculated value.
- Based on combination: This selection indicates that the calculated value will be based on combining the values of 2 axes. You will then need to select the result for any combination of values in the axes.
- Calculated value: This selection lets you use the Available axis drop-down list to select previously created axis and add the to the Formula field which you can then combine with Operators, Separators, and Numbers to create a formula that calculates the value of your axis.
- Axis: You can select the axis to use in the calculations
- Calculation method: You can select whether the axis will be calculated Based on combination or the Calculated value.
- You can flag Pin axis. You can only have 2 pinned axes at the same time and can select new ones as needed. Pinned axes are displayed on the main information page of the stakeholders and are also displayed as the first columns of the assessment program grid.
- Click the Save button.
Edit an Axis in Your Assessment Program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program for which you want to edit an axis.
- Mouseover the axis which you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button on the right hand side of the Axis list page.
- Modify the information as needed.
- Click the Save button.
Deactivate/Reactivate an Axis in Your Assessment Program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program for which you want to deactivate/reactivate an axis.
- In the left menu, select Configuration.
- Mouseover the axis which you want to deactivate/reactivate.
- Click the Deactivate or the Reactivate button on the right hand side of the Axis list page.
- Click the Deactivate or the Reactivate button.
You cannot modify the Axis information until you reactivate the axis.
Data related to this axis will be hidden until you reactivate the axis.
Pin/Unpin an Axis in Your Assessment Program
Pinning an axis will display this axis on the stakeholder information page.
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program in which you want to pin or unpin an axis.
- In the left menu, select Configuration.
- Mouseover the axis which you want to pin or unpin.
- Click the ... (ellipsis) menu.
- Select Pin axis or Unpin axis.
Remove an Axis From Your Assessment Program
Removing an axis from a program deletes the value for this axis for all stakeholders and assessments linked to this assessment program. Once removed, it will not be possible to recover the data. Only remove an axis if it was added by mistake or the data entered is not relevant anymore.
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program from which you want to remove an axis.
- In the left menu, select Configuration.
- Mouseover the axis which you want to remove.
- Click the ... (ellipsis) menu.
- Select Remove.
- Click the Remove button.
