Use alert triggers when you want to be informed about a change in assessment. For example, you may be interested to know about any stakeholder for whom their Level of support goes from High to Medium or Low.
Create an Alert Trigger for Your Assessment Program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program to which you want to add an alert.
- In the left hand record menu, click the + Add in-line option for Configuration and select Alert triggers OR select Configuration and click the + Add button for the Alert triggers list in the Configuration information page.
- In the Alert name field, specify a name for your alert.
- In the Axis drop-down list, select the axis to which your alert trigger will be linked.
- You can select a Color to have it displayed when this alert is represented.
- You can add details of the alert in the Description field.
- You can flag Retroactive to generate new alerts for all current stakeholder assessments which match defined alert rules. Borealis will then compare the current assessment with the last assessment done and generate the new alerts.
- You can then create your condition for this alert trigger:
- Select the value in the When drop-down list.
- Select the new value that triggers your alert in the Changes to drop-down list.
- You can add additional conditions for this alert trigger by clicking on +Add condition.
- Click the Save button.
You can remove previously created triggers by clicking on the - button on the right hand side of the Alert trigger form.
Edit an Alert Trigger in Your Assessment Program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program for which you want to edit an alert trigger.
- Mouseover the alert trigger which you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button on the right hand side of the Alert triggers list page.
- Modify the information as needed.
- Click the Save button.
Remove an Alert TriggerFrom Your Assessment Program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program from which you want to remove an alert trigger.
- In the left menu, select Configuration.
- Mouseover the alert trigger which you want to remove.
- Click the Remove button.
