Performing a structured assessment of your stakeholders is the foundation of a strong engagement strategy. Using Borealis to conduct your assessment provides access to a variety of outputs and options that can streamline your engagement strategy.
The following process assumes you already created an assessment program, activated it and that your stakeholder is linked to the program.
Assess a stakeholder from the stakeholder record
- Navigate to Individuals or Organisations in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the stakeholder which you want to assess.
- Click the Actions menu and select Assess / Re-assess OR in the left hand record menu, select Assessment and click the Assess / Re-assess option in the Assessment information page.
- Change the Assessment program and Assessment date if they are not correct.
Note: It is not possible to assess a stakeholder more than once on the same date. - Click on a value for each assessment axis. If the stakeholder has been assessed previously, the value for each axis from the most recent assessment has a small green bubble.
- Add Assessment comments if necessary.
- Click the Complete button.
Assess a stakeholder from the assessment program
- Navigate to Assessment programs in Stakeholder engagement.
- Select and open the assessment program for which you want to assess or re-assess a stakeholder.
- In the left hand record menu, select Stakeholders.
- In the Stakeholders information page, mouseover the stakeholder you want to assess.
- Click the Assess or the Re-assess button (depending on whther the stakeholder has already been assessed in the program) on the right hand side of the page.
- Change the Assessment date if it is not correct.
- Click on a value for each assessment axis. If the stakeholder has been assessed previously, the value for each axis from the most recent assessment has a small green bubble.
- Add Assessment comments if necessary.
- Click the Complete button.
