Create and Edit Tender Evaluation Policies

Defining a Tender Evaluation Policy

After entering the mandatory details for tender evaluation policy, you will need to define at least one criterion in the criteria table. A criterion describes rules against which each tender for an opportunity submitted by each business will be scored for eligibility for an opportunity.

Note: If you change the meaning of a criterion after the tender evaluation policy has already been used in an opportunity, it will not be clear which businesses were screened under which version of that policy. If you need to change the screening criterion after the policy has been used, it is better create a new tender evaluation policy containing the changed criteria, and deactivate the old one.

Deactivating a Tender Evaluation Policy

When a tender evaluation policy is out of date, or is no longer relevant, you can deactivate it (using the workflow tab) so that it cannot be selected in any new opportunities.
