Registering New Job Offers
When a new position (suitable for inclusion in the companies local employment program) is identified, enter the details of the new job offer into the Job offers register. You may also need to define new competencies for this job offer in the competencies table on the job offer form, otherwise select a competency from the ones already set-up.
Communicating a Job Offer
After recording the details of a job offer, you may want to link it to a recruitment campaign. To do this you must first ensure that there is a record in the recruitment campaigns register.
Assign Candidates to a Job Offer
You may find that there are already candidates listed in the candidates register, who are suitable for the job offer. Once a person is listed in the candidates register, they can be assigned to the job offer using the candidates table in the screening tab. If you receive job applications from the community, you may need to enter the details of any new people into the individuals register (in the stakeholder module) and then add them as new candidates in the candidates register. Note that a person may already be listed in the individuals register, especially if they have attended a course, and are recorded as a participant in the capacity building register.
Screening Candidates
After the job application period has closed, screen the candidates by grading each one on each criterion in the evaluation scores table. The total score of each candidate in the candidates register will be calculated automatically according to the weight of each criterion. Prior to screening candidates, the relevant screening policy (and associated criteria) must be created in the screening policies register.
Record the Contracts
Once you have determined each successful candidate, they have accepted the job and signed the employment contract, you can add the details into the contracts table. Each created contract will also appear in the contract register.
Closing the Job Offer
When all of the contracts have been entered for a job offer, you can close the record (using the workflow tab).
Record the Community Impacts
At any time during or after a job offer (even if it is closed), you can record feedback received from stakeholders and list the observed community benefits in the impacts tab.
