Properties depend on your widget type. Scatter plots are mostly used for stakeholder mapping purposes, to graphically represent assessment axes in relation to one another. The information can be inputted using the following criteria:
Columns
The value of the columns you select is added as a definition of the dots in the scatter plot. The more you add, the longer the dot title.
Tip: do not select more than 3 columns, otherwise, it may impact your scatter plot readability.
Tip: First Name, Last Name, Full Name, Organisation, Position are mainly the columns you will use.
X axis values
Select the data you want to use as your X axis.
Tip: if working to create a stakeholder mapping widget, select an assessment axis.
Y axis values
Select the data you want to use as your Y axis.
Tip: if working to create a stakeholder mapping widget, select another assessment axis, different than the one selected in the X axis.
Z axis values
The Z axis value shows the range of values of a variable dependent on the two other variables (X and Y).
Tip: the value you select as the Z axis value is the one that will put in perspective your X and Y value by increasing or decreasing the dot size.
Add categories
(Only available in the edit mode) Select the data you want your result to be visually different about in the scatter plot.
Tip: the categorie you select will allow you to add a layer of color in your scatter plot. For example, your dots could be colored by organisation’s or individual’s categorization.
Filters can be added to your Widget to present specific data.
