Export Data

You can easily export most of the data in Borealis to an Excel format, a PDF format, or vCard (VCF) format when applicable. This is useful when you want to show data to a non-Borealis user or leverage the specialized tools in Excel and create specific tables or create contacts in your email client based on Borealis data.

You should keep in mind exporting the data creates a snapshot of what is currently in your system and results in the exported data no longer being updated once it is outside the system.

This article covers the following:

You can also upload the vCard directly into some email clients. For example, when using Outlook, you can import vCard information from File > Open & Export > Import/Export then select the Import a vCard option and following the instructions on screen.

Certain web email software may require you to convert vCard files to a VCF format before you can create the contact. Refer to your email client documentation on how to proceed.
