Creating an Engagement plan
When creating an engagement plan, there are 3 required fields that you must complete right away: Title, Type of engagement and Projects. In addition to these required elements, we recommend that you enter all the information that you know at this point: this will make it easier for team members who are collaborating with you on this engagement plan.
Once your engagement plan has been created, access the Planning tab to add activities, stakeholders and team members.
Adding an Activity to the Engagement plan
Activities group stakeholders for whom you have the same communication strategy for a given period of time: it’s a piece of your broader Engagement plan. In other words, each activity is a goal in itself, that will include:
- Stakeholders you need to talk to
- Your key messages
- When you must engage with them
- How frequently
- The desired level of engagement

Following up on an Engagement plan
From the Monitoring tab, you will be able to view:
- Stakeholders in the communications and activities of the engagement plan
- Tasks linked to the activities of the engagement plan
In the Engagements tab, you’ll find all the communications, grievances, issues and commitments linked to the engagement plan. You can also link existing communications, grievances, issues or commitments from this tab, or directly from each record.
The Engagement plans follow-up report in Analytics can help you monitor your activities, tasks and more. Since this is a system report, you can duplicate it and customize it to fit your needs.
Closing or cancelling an Engagement plan
Once the engagement plan is over and that there are no outstanding activities, you can close it using the workflow button. Should the engagement plan be cancelled, you can use the same button to do so.
Notifications
You’ll notice banner notifications in the top of the screen for engagement plans, activities, communications and tasks. These notifications help you identify communications that are potentially linked to opened tasks in Boréalis.
