Link a Shapefile to an Asset in your Impact Inventory (VIDEO)

In an impact inventory, available in the Land Access Module, an asset (crop, tree, infrastructure, parcel) can be associated to an actual polygonal geometry. The geometries can be used for calculations of the compensated area or to display them on the map for a better monitoring.

A geometry is composed of a compressed (.zip) file. This is the only accepted format. The system expects that the archive contains a single shapefile, which technically is composed of several files (.shp, .shx, .prj, .dbf, .sbx). If you have a doubt, you can ask a GIS data specialist about this.
