Properties depend on your widget type. Maps are an excellent option to present data related to locations and to support a table or other data source that is visually less intuitive. The information can be inputted using the following criteria:
Note: records and data with no location, no address or no related geometry will not appear on the map. Therefore, when the location field is empty for some records, it could lead to a misrepresentation of reality.
Form with geometry
Select what you want to see on the map. Options available in the dropdown menu are directly related with the “Data - Content” you initially selected to create your widget.
Additional forms with geometry
This field allows you to add layers to your map. Layers are useful when you want to present two datasets in the same map. The dropdown menu presents you with any map widget created before and all the layers available on the general map. You can access the general map by using the in the navigation menu.
Add categories?
(Only available in the edit view) Categories are useful when you want to present a lot of information on a single map. This option allows you to browse map layers using the selected categorization.
Filters can be added to your Widget to present specific data.
