Parcels are divisions of a large area of land. They are necessary when creating land titles in the system.
Parcels can be created in batch, through Excel importations, or manually by following these steps:
- Go to Land Management module and click on the Parcels component.
- Click Create and complete this form:
- To create multiple parcels through batch import, go to Parcels register and select the option Import Excel from the Tools menu.
Geometry is an important element of parcels, although not mandatory. Geometries can be imported in batch using the "Geometry import" option in the Configuration menu. Once associated to parcels, they will automatically calculate the area of that specific parcel. Any type of record overlapping the parcel will also be automatically linked to the parcel.
