Configure the Mailchimp Integration

Overview

Set up the integration between Borealis and your Mailchimp account to enable two-way synchronization of stakeholders and campaign data. This setup is required only once and must be completed by a user with appropriate permissions.

Prerequisites

• Active Mailchimp account

• SE – Administrator or Superuser profile in Borealis

Steps

1. In Mailchimp

   • Go to Profile > Extras > API keys

   • Select Create a key

   • Mailchimp will generate a key 

     Note: You won’t be able to see or copy this API key again. Save it somewhere secure, or use it to connect your application right away.

2. In Borealis, access integration settings

   • Navigate to Integrations in Configuration.

   • Select Create

     • Use the key generated in Mailchimp to fill out the Tenant prefix and Global API Key fields.

     • The tenant prefix corresponds to the last element of the key, after the '-'. E.g. us20.
