A Screening Policy is a configurable evaluation framework used to assess Community Contribution requests. It defines the specific criteria, scoring rules, and calculation formulas that a review committee uses to determine if a contribution aligns with organizational strategies and funding thresholds.
This framework supports multi-reviewer evaluations, independent scoring, and automated recommendations, ensuring a transparent and auditable decision-making process.

Workflow and Statuses
The system uses a workflow to manage the availability of a screening policy:
Draft: The default status when a policy is being created. It is not yet available for use in Community Contributions.
Active: Once the configuration is complete, set the status to Active. The policy can now be selected by users when sending a contribution for screening.
Inactive: If a policy is no longer required (e.g., after an annual strategy update), select Deactivate under the Workflow menu.
Inactive policies cannot be selected for new contributions.
This action does not affect contributions that have already been screened using this policy.
