Once a Community Contribution request is received, it must undergo a screening process to ensure it aligns with organizational policies and funding criteria. The screening workflow allows for independent, multi-reviewer evaluations, providing a transparent and auditable basis for decision-making.
Initiate the Screening Process
Navigate to Community Contributions in Social Investment.
Select and open the contribution record you wish to evaluate.
In the Actions menu, select the action to send the contribution for screening (e.g., Screen).
In the pop-up window, select the appropriate Screening Policy (Evaluation Grid) from the drop-down list.
Click Save.
The contribution status will update to Screening, and the screening interface will become available for authorized reviewers.
Perform a Screening
As a reviewer (e.g., a member of the Review Committee), follow these steps to submit your evaluation:
Open the contribution record assigned for screening.
In the left-hand menu, navigate to the Screening section.
Click the Screen button.
Fill in the evaluation grid:
Select the appropriate Value for each Axis (e.g., Strategic Alignment, Social Impact).
If an axis is a Calculated axis, the score will be automatically determined based on the other values entered.
Add comments if necessary to justify your scoring.
Click the Save button.
Finalize and Review Scores
Once all committee members have completed their assessments, the final recommendation can be reviewed:
Navigate to the Screening tab of the contribution.
Review the list of assessments performed.
Perform a final screening. The latest screening will be recorded as the official decision-making data for the audit trail.
When the evaluation is complete, use the Actions menu to trigger the next step (e.g., Send for Review, Put on hold, Refuse).
