Stakeholder Overrides allow you to record stakeholder-specific outcomes when a single consultation communication (a communication linked to a consultation Engagement Plan) involves multiple stakeholders with different concerns, responses, or follow-up requirements.
Use Stakeholder Overrides to ensure consultation reporting accurately reflects each stakeholder's participation while preserving the original communication record.
📌 Note: The Consultation reporting section, including the Stakeholder Overrides table, is available only for communications linked to a consultation Engagement Plan. Stakeholders must also be linked to the Engagement Plan to be included in consultation reporting.

Understanding how stakeholder overrides affect consultation reporting
Stakeholder Overrides allow consultation reports to accurately reflect stakeholder-specific outcomes when a single communication involves multiple stakeholders with different responses, concerns, or follow-up requirements.
When a stakeholder override exists, the consultation report uses the override values for that stakeholder instead of the communication-level values. The following fields can be overridden:
- Requires Follow-up
- Summary
- Issues
If no override exists, the report uses the corresponding values from the communication record.
