| Status | Description |
| Planned | The permit is being prepared and has not yet been submitted to the issuing authority. |
| Submitted | The permit application has been filed or formally submitted for review. |
| Active | The permit has been approved and is currently in effect. |
| Completed | All activities associated with the permit have been completed, and the permit record is closed. |
| Expired | The permit has reached its expiration date and is no longer valid. |
| Cancelled | The permit process or permit itself was cancelled before completion. |
| Rejected | The permit application was reviewed and not approved by the issuing authority. |
