Social Baseline

The social baseline module is used to identify, since the planning phase of a project, the risks of social impacts. The goal is to limit or mitigate these impacts. Since data is collected before and after the project implementation phase, the social baseline measures the actual impact of a project on the various stakeholders and their environment. It then becomes easier to manage compensations equitably. The social baseline module includes the 'Surveys' component, it is divided in two sections, Studies and Socio-economic surveys.
