Introduction to Engagement Plans

An Engagement Plan brings together the communications, activities, meetings, follow-ups, tasks, and stakeholders associated with a common engagement initiative. It provides a centralized view that helps teams plan engagement activities, track progress, and manage outcomes toward specific objectives.

Key Capabilities

With Engagement Plans, you can:

  • Implement and manage engagement strategies and initiatives.
  • Define objectives and track progress toward engagement goals.
  • Organize related communications, meetings, activities, tasks, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and engagement activities through a shared view.
  • Monitor engagement outcomes, issues, grievances, and commitments.
  • Group related activities that support the same project, consultation, or engagement objective.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure that relevant stakeholders, activities, projects, or other records are available if you plan to associate them with the Engagement Plan.
  • To create an Engagement Plan for a consultation process, ensure that the required configuration is set up in the Data Dictionary.
