Data is a core component of Borealis and allows you to use many of the engagement management features to assist you in your day-to-day work. This data accuracy can be taken for granted but a process of regular data verification should be put in place at defined intervals to ensure the data in your system is reliable and can be used by you and your team.
The stakeholder verification feature lets you schedule verifications at regular intervals for any stakeholder in your system and provides a means to record verification actions you and your team members have taken. This action can be done manually for each stakeholder, or in batch for multiple stakeholders, based on the data conservation process and the requirements of your company and lets you make sure the data in your system is accurate and reliable.
This article covers the following:
- Viewing the verification status of a stakeholder
- Scheduling verification intervals for a stakeholder
- Scheduling verification intervals for multiple stakeholder in batch
- Verifying a stakeholder
- Creating a widget to track the verification status of your stakeholders.

Create a Widget to Track Verification Information
Borealis offers several tools to help you in tracking verification information and keeping up with the verification schedule such as creating email notifications for yourself. Another option is creating one or several widgets to track key information related to the verification process such as Last verification date, Last verified by, Verification frequency, Next verification date.
- Create a widget.
- In the Form drop-down list, select Stakeholder Engagement - All stakeholders.
- You can then add the columns you want to track for the verification process (optional). This lets you use columns sorting to organize your data for example.
- You can then add filters to zero in on the verification information.
For example you could display all stakeholders with verifications scheduled before a specific date with:
Additional filters you can add to your widget(s) are:- Last verification date
- Last verified by
- Verification frequency
- Modified since last verification
- Next verification due date
- You can add several filters in the same widget or duplicate your widget and add a different filter.
- You can then add any widgets you created for tracking verification information to a report to group all your information in one place.
- You can also bookmark your report and/or your widgets for quick access.
